I'm proud to announce that the latest album from the Spin Doctors, Nice Talking To Me, will be released on Tuesday, September 13, 2005! The RuffNation/Fontana release will be available for purchase online, as well as retail stores throughout North America. It will be packaged as a 10 track CD with a foldout booklet containing photos, lyrics, credits, etc. A bonus DVD will also be included along with the CD, which will contain select live performances from the March 2005 UK tour, as well as some backstage footage. The plan all along was to have it running by January 1, but thought it best to have it in place now since 2005 will be an exciting year for the band. With the new year coming around in a few weeks, it also gives us some time to work out any bugs in the forum that have yet to be discovered, though hopefully there will be few, if any at all. As announced a few days ago, the MP3 section has been wiped clear for something 'new'. Starting tonight, and continuing for the next few months, many hard to find and exclusive songs will make their way into your hands; or ears, at the very least. The MP3s will span the range from CD Single bonus tracks to special live recordings, and quite *possibly*, even some studio outtakes and demos. Every week, 1 or 2 tracks will be added to the download section for you to check out. This week's offering consists of 2 previously unreleased tracks which only appeared as a bonus on the 1994 CD Single of "Cleopatra's Cat", which of course is now long out of print. ENJOY! Spin Doctors are presently in Los Angeles, California recording a new album with producer Matt Wallace, http://www.mcdman.com/wallace.html. Matt has most recently produced "Songs About Jane" by Marron5, which has just been certified double platinum. Matt has also produced Faith No More, The Replacements, Blues Traveler, Train and John Hiatt to name just a few. The band has written over 12 new songs and plan on completing the album by Christmas 2004. Look for a release date sometime late spring/early summer 2005.

Spin Doctors are happy to announce a three week club tour of Europe starting March 3, 2005 in London, England. This will be the first time the original band members have toured Europe together since 1993. Some of the UK tour stops will include London, Sheffield, Manchester, Nottingham, Birmingham and Glasgow. There will also be a few shows in Belgium and Holland. Stay tuned for a complete tour schedule! [JB - 13:25 EDT]

The weather was exceptional all day for the 40,000+ people that came out for the wine, balloons and the music. Seems we had some server problems for an hour or two, so for anyone that downloaded any MP3s at any point earlier than the time of this post, then you may have one or more corrupted files in your possession. Please re-download any file which appears to be incomplete,...Sorry for the inconvenience. Ok,...moving on then...Just added some more images from both the Illinois and Maryland gigs to the gallery section. And while I'm on the subject of new images, hopefully by the beginning of next week, we'll have some shots available for you guys which were taken at Mohegan Sun last week - I've seen a few already and they look great! Welcome to the official, and now new and improved, Spin Doctors Web site! With so much going on with the band these days, our goal is to keep you all informed on the latest news, and to provide you with some goodies along the way. We have added some new live mp3s for you to download, as well as improve a few that have been on the site for sometime now. You will find all the mp3s in the download area, along with some great looking images for you to use as wallpaper, if you are so inclined. A photo gallery has also been added, and although it is a bit bare bones at the moment, have no fear as we have many new images to add, so look for those within the next few days.

In this news section, you will find not only the latest updates regarding the site, but also the latest and most important details of the band's activities. And from time to time, you will also get the latest info directly from the boys themselves, and maybe even some random thoughts now and again. Please check back here often!

Given that today is the official re-launch of the site, you may notice that throughout the day, as well as over the next few, there will be many updates, additions and tweaks to the site that you are seeing right now. We also have many new things planned for the future, but more on that when the time draws closer.
